While you’ve probably received numerous communications from different businesses defining their current approach to COVID-19, we wanted to reassure you that it’s business as usual here at Airtime Surveys.
Although the current climate is certainly less than desirable for many businesses, in times of crises radio plays an integral role in not only the dissemination of critical information, but also providing a space in which its listeners and community can express their feelings. It’s more important than ever to stay connected with your listeners.
Take advantage of Airtime to better understand how your community is feeling. Share any information with all teams (on-air, marketing, socials) to help create content and reflect the collective feelings. While social distancing is being encouraged, the Airtime Voice feature is a great way to easily gather vox pops from your communities to put to air, without having to send your staff out and about.
It’s also important to consider your incentives. Although many listeners would love to win an international holiday or something more experiential, such as concert tickets, these prizes may not be viable at present. Opting for other incentives like home entertainment packages may be more attractive (because everyone is going to be home watching Netflix, right?).
Airtime can also be used to support your sales efforts during this time. It’s essential to be proactive, reach out to your clients and encourage them to continue to advertise as it’s those that continue to advertise who will come out of this rough patch better off.
